About manager

Radek is the manager of the team and has long experience in Data & Analytics agenda from projects in the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Switzerland, Canada, United States or in the Middle East region. Apart from project responsibilities, Radek is focusing on building trust and openness across the whole team. He believes that everyone in the team has something to learn from each other and therefore grow together. He likes traveling, sports and enjoys time with family and his dog.

Job description & summary

We are looking for candidates to join our globally focused and agile Data & Automation team based in Prague/Brno. Our team engages in Data Analytics, Data Science and Data Architecture activities for both clients in the Czech Republic and globally. We offer the possibility to work with premier clients, projects and technologies, giving you the opportunity to quickly broaden your experience and develop your skills. We welcome applications from candidates who are graduates and/or experienced professionals to lead an engagement team.

What will you do?

  • Work as a part of the Prague and Brno Digital Enablement agile team where you will be participating on development of innovative data driven solutions for PwC clients, via consultation, design and development of data analytics solutions.

  • Gather business requirements and translate them to technical language.Β 

  • You will communicate with business stakeholders to understand the needs and apply technology to fulfill these needs.Β 

  • Analyzing data with respect to business requirements and processes.

  • Design and implement technical target state.Β 

  • Flexibly react to the different clients' needs.

  • You will present insights from business analysis, data mining and user stories based on final reports.

  • Understand potential core issues and pain points, propose solution approaches and work closely with other team members on implementation.

  • You will potentially:

    • Build data models and data transformations.

    • Write SQL queries, MDX and DAX formulas in MS Power BI.Β 

    • Create data visualizations in BI tools such as Power BI or QlikSense.

    • Use business intelligence best practices to standardize reports, automate data flows and reports refreshes.Β 

Requirement of role:

  • Data enthusiast willingness to grow in the business intelligence area.

  • Person having at least 1 year of experience in the area of data solution design, integrations & development.

  • Looking for a person who is not strictly interested in only one specific agenda (SQL, MS Power BI, Azure Stack…)

  • Person willingness to grow in an ever changing environment reflecting clients needs and its alignment with the modern technical area.

  • At least fundamental knowledge of databases, business intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, IBM Cognos…), SQL, ETL.

  • Experience with data analysis.

  • DB modeling and a fundamental knowledge of ETL concepts is a plus.

  • Awareness of key concepts of Project Management is plus but not essential.

  • The ability to communicate in English and also Czech.
