The salary range applicable to this role is $89,000-$112,000, which is dependent on experience and geographic location. This role ideally will sit in our US Headquarters at our offices in New Providence, New Jersey, but we are open to remote US candidates who meet or exceed our qualifications. Please note, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Description:

The ideal Data Analyst candidate will leverage data to provide insights that help optimize performance and drive strategic decision-making across product development, marketing, revenue, and operations. This role will sit on the Data and Analytics team, where you’ll report to the Director of Data and Analytics and collaborate with two other team members. This role requires you to be a self-starter who is passionate and motivated to quickly contribute.

Primary Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Gather, analyze, and transform large datasets from various sources, including platform usage, user behavior, and marketing campaigns
  • Analyze trends, identify patterns, and present actionable insights to key stakeholders

Reporting and Visualization:

  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track KPIs and performance for partners and the business
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

Collaboration:

  • Partner with business development, product managers, engineers, executives, and marketing teams to align on objectives and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Support user and audience segmentation initiatives to help develop stronger marketing strategiesΒ 

Revenue Optimization:

  • Monitor business performance and recommend strategies for revenue growth and reducing user churn
  • Use predictive analytics to forecast trends and opportunities for user growth in subscriptions, engagement, and revenueΒ 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or experience in lieu of degree
  • +3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing databases
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Grafana, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet software
  • Advanced knowledge of data preparation, visualization, and communication
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling
  • Experience with Python or R for advanced data analysis
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Knowledge and understanding of common measurements and metrics for evaluating marketing performance
  • Understanding of digital streaming, media, or sports industries is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
